The logotype is shaped to resemble the building where the ship is currently resting and the colors are picked to express royal, the material of wood and marine at the same time.
Branding for a museum
At Berghs School of Communication I was told to rebrand a museum in Stockholm, and the museum of my choice was the Vasa Museum. The place holds a special memory for me, I remembered going there as a kid and being in awe by the experience. Because the whole museum is based on a sunken ship I wanted to put my focus on the motion of a sinking object. I chose to work with the capital in the name of "Vasa" to represent this feeling.
